45-year-old David Ogundele, ran away after allegedly stabbing his girlfriend 30-year-old Oluwatosin Ashinwo, to death in the Tanke area of Ilorin, Kwara state, on Monday, April 25.Oluwatosin an MTN customer care executive, had turned down his marriage proposal, causing a frustrated Ogundele tostab her and her mother multiple times in her apartment. Oluwatosin later died from her stab wounds, while her mother survived and is undergoing life-saving surgery.Ogundele was arrested three weeks after he committed the crime, on May 14, in Osun state, after he was tracked down by undercover agents.
