Former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader Molly Shattuck has been arrested and charged with sexual contact involving a minor, authorities said.
The 47-year-old mother of three was indicted Monday on two counts of third-degree rape, four counts of unlawful sexual contact and three counts of providing alcohol to minors,according to CBS Baltimore.
She turned herself into the Sussex County Superior Court in Georgetown, Del., on Wednesday, and pleaded not guilty, according to WBALTV. She posted $84,000 bail.
Shattuck, who is separated from her husband, has been under investigation for the past several weeks for alleged sexual involvement with a 15-year-old student at a Baltimore private school.
The estranged wife of Exelon Energy Corp. chairman Mayo Shattuck started commenting on photos the teen posted on Instagram, and the relationship quickly escalated to texting and then meeting in person, police said.
During their first intimate encounter in May — at an AMC movie theater — they kissed and touched each other before taking off in Shattuck’s Cadillac Escalade to a middle school parking lot where they made out in the back seat, according to search warrant.
As things got more heated, Shattuck would pick up the 15-year-old and take him to a parking garage during lunch breaks from his summer chemistry class to make out and touch each other, according to officials.
Over Labor Day weekend, she rented a beach house in Delaware — bringing her son and his friends — and invited her teenage paramour to stay with her.
She promised his father there would be no alcohol, though officials say she drank wine and offered it to the boy.
Around 2 a.m. on Sunday that weekend, Shattuck bought a 12-pack of Miller Lite and a 12-pack of Bud Light and then asked the teen to help her walk her dog when she returned to the beach house. Instead, she had oral sex with him as her son and his friends partied on the rooftop.
A few hours after the sexual session, Shattuck told the teen he needed to go to bed, but he went into her room — and cops say Shattuck stripped and had oral sex with him again.
She told the young boy that “if he wanted to have sex, she would.”
But he left the room and didn't make any effort to see Shattuck again.
Shattuck then contacted him on Instagram a few weeks after the wild weekend. He notified authorities in late September of the illicit relationship.
Shattuck has spent a great deal of time in the spotlight, especially as the oldest cheerleader in the NFL when she made the squad in 2005 at age 38. She also authored a book called "Vibrant Living," which details how to live a healthy lifestyle.
