Osinbajo Prof. Osinbajo’s visit to London came barely after 24 hours wife of the President l, Aisha Buhari had raised the hope that Buhari will soon come back to the country.. Unconfirmed report has it that the Acting President was summoned by President Buhari to London. Osinbajo jetted out of Abuja soon after presiding over the Quarterly Presidential Business Forum on Tuesday morning at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on media and publicity, Laolu Akande, had initially denied the trip when he realized that State House correspondents had knowledge of it, saying that the Acting President would only be traveling to Lagos. But he later confirmed in a tweet on his twitter handle, @akandeoj that Osinbajo has indeed left for London on the president’s summons without providing details. However, he said the Acting President would return to Abuja immediately thereafter without also giving specific date. According to the tweet, “AgP Osinbajo meeting with President Buhari in London today, and returning to Abuja immediately afterwards,” Akande tweeted.
