The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, confirmed Obasanjo’s visit when contacted by our correspondent but said there was no details.
“Obasanjo came like a thief in the night but there are no details,” he said.
The two leaders met inside the official residence of the President.
Obasanjo, decked in blue agbada and a cap to match, arrived the premises after President Buhari was done with the day’s work in his office.
That was the first time the former President would be visiting Buhari inside the Presidential Villa since his inauguration on May 29.
