A promising young actor was found dead in his £2million home by his barrister father after injecting a lethal cocktail of drugs, an inquest heard.
Fabian Garcia-Miller, 19, had attended the £11,000-a-term Westminster School and hoped to win a place at RADA.
But he had suffered from depression and his mother Laura Garcia-Miller had previously found him lying unconscious with a needle in his arm.
Father Andrew Miller, QC, discovered his son after he suffered cardiac arrest on January 5 at the home the teenager shared with his mother in St John's Wood, north London.
Coroner Dr Fiona Wilcox recorded a verdict of death by drug related misadventure after an inquest at Westminster Coroner’s Court.
She told his parents: ‘I would like to pass my sympathies on to you - such a young man, such a waste.’
The inquest heard Fabian had a happy childhood and had ‘stunning good looks’ to match his performing and academic talents.
The popular young performer, who made friends laugh with his impressions, was looking forward to visiting his brother in Italy during his gap year.
Fabian was known to misuse drugs and his parents had sent him to America for expensive rehab in the summer of 2014.
Three weeks before his tragic death his mother, who is also a lawyer, discovered him lying unconscious.
