President Goodluck Jonathan has congratulated the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) , General Muhammadu Buhari on his victory in last Saturday’s election.
In a telephone call at exactly 5:15pm to Buhari in Abuja, Jonathan assured him of maximum cooperation and smooth transition.
Head of the Peace Committee, Abdulsalami Abubakar confirmed the call to state house correspondents aftermeeting with the President Jonathan at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
He said the President told him that he called Buhari around 5.15 p.m.
