Picture credit: The Independent It has become a huge mystery for scientists. According to a report published in The Independent, miners in Russia have discovered a rock with about 30,000 diamonds in it.
The rock which appears to be red and green in colour was found by Russian miners and is kept in one of the research academy.
The rock is around 5mm in size.
"The tiny bits look very exciting and they look strange," Larry Taylor, a geologist at the University of Tennessee was quoted as saying.
The detailed research will be presented in Russian Geology and Geophysics in 2015.
