The 13-year-old had met her long-lost father when she tracked him down through Facebook. Her ordeal started when he invited her to stay with him.
The rapist father would coerce her to drink alcohol and when she gets drunk he used to rape her, the metro.co.uk reported.
The 41-year-old accused was living in South Yorkshire.
Their happy reunion, however, quickly turned into a nightmare for the teenager after he started sexually abusing her.
She was forced to have sex "on a regular basis" over a six-month period, , the Sheffield Crown Court heard.
"She did not resist because he was her dad. She said, 'I had only just met him so I went along with it'," prosecutor Timothy Capstick said.
"She said she felt like hitting out but couldn't as he was her father," the report quoted Capstick as saying.
He said the girl, who is now 18, was plied with alcohol before being forced into sex.
The abuse only came to light when the teenager told a social worker who alerted the police.
The man, who had a drink problem and was suffering from depression, has been jailed for six years.
"Over a period of six months you grossly abused your position of trust. She was 13 and you were 41 and you took advantage of her," said judge Simon Lawler.
